Geoplan secured first place in Korea at the “Cisco Partner Innovation Challenge 2024” with its groundbreaking UplugNplay solution, showcasing innovation and excellence in collaboration with Cisco’s technology. 

The Cisco Partner Innovation Challenge is designed to combine Cisco’s infrastructure with partners’ technical expertise and innovative ideas to deliver new value and services to customers. It also offers partners the opportunity to collaborate globally in areas like sales, training, and marketing.

Geoplan is an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) communication-based indoor location tracking company that works with Cisco DNA Space to provide precise location data with an error range of less than 50 cm to improve data precision. Geoplan developed UWB adapters that can be linked to Cisco Access Points (AP) to introduce a business model that applies UWB technology to existing Cisco infrastructure enabling precise real-time tracking of people’s and assets’ locations. 

UplugNplay is easily connected to the Cisco Catalyst 9100 series and DNA Spaces, eliminating the need for additional network equipment, and providing a simple and scalable construction. This Plug and Play solution enables companies to optimize operational efficiency by improving human safety, managing the location and security of valuable assets, and enhancing monitoring capabilities. It is applicable across a wide range of industries, including healthcare and manufacturing thanks to its integration, scalability, and efficiency.
